Battle bugs the game. Style Savvy Trendsetters Hints. Home; Elite Contest; The Major Characters; Questions? Michaela Description: 'She's one of the most talented stylists in town.' The owner of Mira Luna. She runs the store, hiring the main character as an employee before ultimately giving her the store and role of manager. She runs the contests along with her.

Or in other words, how to look ridiculous and come in first place.Once you get to the International contests, you will likely be stumped. The game will never let you win and some trashy unmatched bimbo won instead of your pristine work of art. So, what do you do?Throw away most of the coordination knowledge and common sense you have.

These contests are very literal. Clothes do not harmonize. The key to winning these is press the Search button, filter by style keyword, and then by pattern. The game will likely choose your clashing, all Marizpan floral outfit over something that looks good. At first I found this difficult to do, but after awhile it felt like some puzzle game instead of something with at least some artistic expression.

Winning the Edgy contest with nothing but select brand and plaid pattern, minus the collar accessory. Razor-cut hair and bright makeup (NOT gothic makeup).I also recommend sticking mostly to key brand, but trying to add an accessory in a close brand or just expensive (think Zade). Despite the clashing assembles, do not accessorize to high heaven.

You will have a better chance of winning by keeping to something relatively simple: shirt, jacket, shoes, necklace; dress, jacket, purse, shoes, etc. Avoid anything that does not match by keywords. No Basic white knee-highs for anything other than a Basic outfit.Hair and makeup also seem to be important.

Make-up largely follows brand literalness. For instance, despite making complete sense to our human minds, Naima‘s Eastern Promise makeup is not ideal for the Asian-inspired contest. You’re better off with the brown tones of ADELIA. Hair is just an exercise of avoidance. Look at the backgrounds. Don’t pick a hairstyle with a pink girly background or polka dots for an Boho-chic outfit, but definitely pick one for girly and pop.

I was going to get lots of posts done this long weekend, but you know what they say about the best-laid plans! My family was adopted by a gorgeous black stray cat with white paws. Yes, WE were adopted, so I spent two of my four days off caring for the cat. Since we don’t know his vaccination history or if he has parasites, we’ve had to make a cozy shelter for him outside in a huge storage bin. He’s quite skinny and has a wound in his side, but oh gosh is he the friendliest cat ever (and I’ve always wanted a black cat). Unfortunately, he had no microchip but he did have a tattoo, so we’ll be making inquiries to that particular vet to check if someone has lost their cat. If we can’t track down the owner then we’ll be taking him to a no-kill cat shelter.

As much as I’d like to adopt him myself, he seems used to roaming around outside so I’m afraid there might be problems down the road if we try to keep him permanently indoors. The end result? Well, I got next to nothing done! So I figure I might as well get ONE post up today!Anyway, I’ve been accumulating some pictures of people I hadn’t visited during my first massive tour. I haven’t had much time to visit everybody’s Shopdo regularly, but I definitely will come around to visit everyone again at some point, especially a few people who are new to the community! Today I’m here with a totally different kind of post. That’s right, we’re traveling back to earlier titles in the series! Mostly because I was looking through old photos on the SD card and thinking I really ought to do something with them. For the record, the very first Style Savvy game I played was the first one, on the DS.

I played it during a severe gaming drought one summer a few years ago and was totally hooked. I loved putting together outfits for customers, doing all the shopping, and most importantly, the fashion contests! Although Dominic would always give you a hint so it was impossible to lose. Zero time dilemma review. Anyway, when Fashion Forward was announced I immediately preordered, and soon after that ordered Trendsetters as well. Out of all the titles, I spent the most time with FF. Trendsetters was fun, but after clearing all the fashion contests I found myself having a hard time staying motivated since it never felt like there were enough new clothes to get.

The customers’ photographic memory of their wardrobe didn’t help either.Anyway, on to the main part of the post. Trendsetters had me going for a while because I was looking through my SD card wondering why I couldn’t find any of the photos. And then I realized that you had to manually save each photo to the SD card. Hitting that button 72 times was fun (not). Here’s Alphard just starting out.

Coming from FF, I was surprised to see that the hairstyles all had preset bangs and you couldn’t change them! Definitely appreciated that improvement in FF. I always give my female game persona a ponytail so I went for the side pony (even though I didn’t really like it).Posted in. Weekly Shopdo update! Here’s my new baby doll interior!I thought, why not take two half-displays and turn them to make one whole one. It actually took me a while to put this interior together, mostly because I needed to find a good angle for the displays.

Also, since the number of squares in the bottom half of the boutique don’t divide very well numerically, I was unable to use a floor with a circular rug since the items would always show up as uneven. The frustrating part was finding out there weren’t any long blue coat racks, as it would have matched with the split-colour theme of the interior. On the bright side, I unintentionally placed the items such that the mirror ended up right behind the mannequin. Score! So here’s this week’s outfits!First up is a cosplay outfit for. I haven’t played the Zero Escape games yet (they’re sitting on my shelf) but I’ll get to them eventually. The outfit is kind of pricey due to the flower hair clips from Purple Moon.

I considered omitting them but it just didn’t look right without the hair clips.
