#1.Moderator comment. If you've ever played Minecraft, and loved it, this is definitely a game for you. There are singleplayer and multiplayer modes as well as hundreds of community made maps available for download. I remember buying into Minecraft when it was first released as an alpha many years ago and was enthralled by it's game play at the time. It grew into a massive game over the next few years and started a trend that is still going on now with many copy cat games having been released since.
This is one of them. Not exactly the same, but if you loved playing with building blocks, Lego or other building systems, you'll love this game. Please only post comments about today's game giveaway; other comments either inappropriate, or not about today's game will be deleted at the moderator or administrators discretion; however a little light banter among community members and with the moderator to keep this a friendly place to visit is acceptable and welcomed. All comments not specifically about today's game giveaway will be judged by the moderator and if deemed not appropriate, will be deleted with no explanation. Please see the end of this review for a link to more details about posting comments, other game deals and other links.
If you need to contact the give away team you can do so and if you're unsure about posting comments the moderation policy is and the FAQ's thread is. World of CubesIn BriefA survival building game with single player and multiplayer modes and loads of custom made maps to explore. Win 8.1 or higher is required to play this game.
Features:⦁ Play in creative or survival mode.⦁Create password protected or read only games.⦁On iOS and Android devices.⦁Plenty of different character skins to use in multiplayer. Suggestions: Whether you like or dislike World of cubes please give some feedback about your opinion of todays game giveaway, for example, what you liked or disliked about the game, and how it could be improved from your point of view. If you don't like this genre at all, please explain why. What improvements would change your opinion? There are thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers ideas as to what their consumers (i.e you) would like to see in a game.
For example, you could suggest extra content such as better or more original mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see that would make it more appealing to you. Maybe you think the graphics are a little dated and are in need of re skinning, or maybe you've just had enough of the genre and want to see something different or something with more originality?
Giving such feedback instead of saying nothing or just saying this game is rubbish or good may bring more developers to the site, which could mean more and better games. Would you give away thousands of copies of a game (or extra content for a game) away to a community that complains all the time instead of giving useful feedback? It only takes a few moments of your time. This site could be transformed if only the community would be more forthcoming in their opinions of the games they are getting for free instead of complaining about the way this site has changed or that they don't like Steam games. If something isn't for you then move on to the next giveaway, or check out the extra's section at the end of this review; you never know, you may find something that interests you.If you miss today's its also available free via the Microsoft store for free until the 27th May 2017.
Installation: I didn't get a download link via the game giveaway servers, for some reason (after completing all tasks), but found that Microsoft are giving the game away free for a limited time. The game appears to be browser based. When I clicked on the download button it opened up a window that gave me immediate access to the game. I think you need to sign into your Microsoft account to get the game registered, thereby keeping it totally free. If you already have the original Minecraft, I wouldn't bother with this game.
Minecraft is far superior, however, for the usual price (it's much cheaper than Minecraft) and while it's free, it's a reasonable alternative if you don't own Minecraft. Check the FAQ's thread if you have problems running World of Cubes The Game: Enter a world full of cubes and build your own creations in World of Cubes, a game for iOS and Android with multiplayer support. Unleash your creativity in the sandbox mode or fight for your survival in survival mode, the choice is yours. The options in World of Cubes are endless with plenty of content whichever path you want to take in the game. On the creative side you’ll have plenty of block variety and easy to use controls that make building painless and fun. Where creative mode really shines though is in the multiplayer environment, you can either use one of the five custom maps put together by the developer or start your own multiplayer adventure with a fresh game world. With a central server it’s easy to find people to play with and share your map creations with other players.
World of Cubes also allows you to password protect your world so only friends can join you or make the game world read-only to preserve your creations. You won’t have to settle for the same avatar as everyone else you run into either with nearly two dozen skins for your character to help make you feel unique and give you your own identity. For those that prefer a real adventure you can load up a survival game in single player. In this mode you’ll have to fight, craft and build in order to survive.
With plenty of mobs (both hostile and tasty) you’ll really feel like you’re inside a living world and not a barren wasteland. Another thing that makes the survival experience stand above alternatives is the inventory like system used for crafting which really eases the learning curve for recipes and what each material in the game is used for.

Conclusion: As I've already said, World of cubes is a Minecraft copy, with a store where you can buy in game money for real cash. Though you can play the game without buying anything. There are ways to earn in game gold for free as well. If you like games like Minecraft, you'll probably like this as well.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Microsoft for giving away World of ubes and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for securing other ways to get free games. Neither Twitter nor FB work right on Cyberfox and I get mixed results on other browsers.
That said, using a combination of browsers I was able to get the tasks done. Good thing Twitter wasn't one of them as that hasn't worked at all lately on any browser. I now have the link to download it, but now it appears I have to set up a Microsoft account. I suppose since I am on Win10 I should so I could access the store for other things should I desire it. I think it requires me to give them my phone number though, at least when I wanted to set up an outlook email account it did so this probably will as well. I do not like giving out my number to any company unless I need them to call me for some reason or other. But that's just me, your opinion may differ. Also, why do these often say 'this competition is over' when there is still time left on the clock?
Front page was showing over 6 hours left but this page now says it's over.Moderator comment.I have the same problem. I have to swap between three different browsers to get all the tasks completed and then it doesn't always work. I think my issue is partly to do with applying for more than one in the past. I usually get these deals for my kids when appropriate; using different emails, but did share the same FB and Twitter accounts, and it used to work, but the giveaway team have implemented several secuity measures to stop farming, but this does affect families who want more than one, now we can only get one and then not always. The description says you can create your own worlds, but it appears that all you can do is explore random computer generated worlds and can't create anything. All I was able to do was wander aimlessly around a randomly generated world. I was not able to anything else.
If you encounter dogs, they will attack you, so it's best to avoid them. So, it helps to avoid dogs on your journey. It would seem that you can collect items along the way.
But I guess I haven't explored enough to find to anything to collect. Certainly the the game does not provide any insight into how to actually play it. So it's rather a mystery to me a this point in time.Moderator comment.Hi RogerIt's basically a building block game where you create your own world by mining blocks and then crafting other blocks and equipment from the blocks you've mined. (and it's the reason the original gake was called Minecraft) Walk up to a block and press the left mouse button. Your character will then mine the block in front of you.
It takes several or more swipes initially becasue you start the game with no tools. These are crafted from the materials you mine. There will be wiki's available that explain the game. There are different modes such as survival, where you have to fight off enemies.
There's also a large community who build their own worlds then upload their creations to the Microsoft servers for you to play in. You can also upload those to your own account then edit them to whatever you want. This can be a great game for kids especially the building part. Check out you tube videos for help. Also check out the following for help ⦁⦁⦁⦁⦁.

To get a Steam key for Vitatio 2 (see list below) you first need to go, then follow the steps. Step 1 then sign into your Steam account via the Vitatio 2 page. Step 2 then give an email and name then click on the save buttons. Step 3click on next to go to the third step optional connect to Twitter. Join the lit network (Steam group) and visit the G2A site via the Buy Steam games button (you don't need to buy), refresh the Vitatio 2 page for the Steam games task to complete then fill in the reCAPTCHA - claim your Vitatio 2 key. If you think that's too much bother, but still fancy the game it's only £0.79p/$0.99.
I've not bothered trying for the other games as I already have them. I'm sure the format to claim is basically the same as for Vitatio 2.
Good luck to those who bother.Check Simplo for the rest of the free Steam keys. The following games are still available for free, though some keys are almost gone. If the discount is indeed for W10 devices only and not for W8 or W8.1 devices this should be mentioned in the blurp, it might however be a store mistake so if you have a W8/8.1 I would certainly try to reach the developer. In Dutc we have a saying that roughly translates to 'better decently stolen than bad thought up' and that can be said about this game as well. I just walked briefly through the world but it is massive. I would not be surprised when I am able to fly I see this being an actual globe.
If you know how to play minecraft you know how to play this game, if you like minecraft you like this game. If you never tried mincraft because it is way to expensive (currently €9,99 but normally €26,99) this is your chance. Besides the name and in a slight way the looks (minecraft colors seem to be a bit brighter to me)this is exactly the same game. The biggest differences for me where the size of the world and the amount of animals and such already in place. In just a short stroll (not a Lance Stroll. I finish my runs) I encountered sheep, cows, horses, wolves, turkeys (the birds, not the people).
There are different biomes, massive cave systems, tundra's. Didn't encounter 'water' yet but I am sure some seas or oceans should be present as well.As I am currently playing a string of survival/crafting games (Stranded Deep and Subsistence are two games that are early access, not to expensive and highly recommendable) this fits nice in my play pattern for now(p.s I also started in the F2P MMO Guild Wars 2. If you are sick and tired of the 'get quest, do quest, run back to turn quest in, go to next quest WoW style games' you might like to try this. The 'questing and leveling' system is like I never seen before, very intuitive and loads of fun. Also the 'holy trinity' is gone. No longer designated tanks, healers and support. All classes fill all roles without problem).Moderator comment.According to the blurb I read the game is okay for win 8.1 and Win 10.
There's no actual download involved, so it's probably still worth going for it even if community members don't have the appropriate OS at this time. Once it's tied to their accounts they can play it at a later date.Loved the early Guild Wars, so will try and find time to check the MMO out.
Unfortunately I've still got loads of legal stuff to sort with respect to the builder ripping me off. It's now been three years of correspondence, searching for receipts and detailing evidence plus it's cost us over 10K in legal fees so far and we've still not been told when a warrant will be served on the builder. Though my most recent payment to the solicitor (almost £700 last month), gave us news that they were getting another surveyor involved as they didn't feel the first surveyor went into enough detail, so that'll be another 1.5K added to the bill. All this stems from a building inspectors mistake right at the beginning when we applied for planning permission. I was hoping to get moving with the reviews, but with this on my mind I'm just not focused on my gaming. It will happen though. Obvious Minecraft clone is obvious.

I don't use FB or Twitter for its main purpose, i.e. A social media outlet, I use them only for getting free stuff.
You can create an FB and Twitter account specifically to get free stuff because most sites that offer free stuff now use FB and Twitter. None of my accounts use important personal details, (I used an incorrect date of birth, a false name, a newly created email account etc, so now I can get lots of free stuff, with no fear of being compromised. If you don't or wont use either of them, or are in fear of being compromised, then you don't have to download.
That's your choice. The only reason most developers give away free games is for advertising. The more people who know about the free game, the more likely they are to get someone buying their products. And Twitter are perfect places to spread the word quickly, which is why they are used by these free sites and developers. Not many developers actually give away their games with just good will in mind. They are out to make money on their babies.
Some of these games we get have taken thousands of hours of development. No one is going to give away thousands of keys unless they get some thing back from it.
These free giveaways are a win win for everyone concerned. The more community members that are aware of them, the more people win and the more money the middle man and the developer gets. Dpg, want some cheese with that whine? If these are 3 strikes for you this must be the absolute first time ever you are getting on a giveaway site as most giveaway sites are using this method including major places like indiegala.
I am downloading free games with this system since it came to this site and NEVER has facebook spammed me with 'you may also like'. Youtube subscriptions are not to track you but for you to follow someone.
You don't want to subscribe? You can use the same dang button to unsubscribe without any problems and still get the entry. I got 4 different twitter accounts, I never post on them but only use them for things like this. You want things for free but you do not want them to know you got it for free? Wait for samples in the wall mart or whatever it is called, only the sun rises for free. Dpg, want some cheese with that whine?

I am downloading free games with this system since it came to this site and NEVER has facebook spammed me with 'you may also like'. Youtube subscriptions are not to track you but for you to follow someone. You don't want to subscribe? You can use the same dang button to unsubscribe without any problems and still get the entry. I got 4 different twitter accounts, I never post on them but only use them for things like this. You want things for free but you do not want them to know you got it for free?
Wait for samples in the wall mart or whatever it is called, only the sun rises for free. The only action I actually had to complete was the FB share. Just clicking on the buttons for the others checked them off. I don't have the right version of Windows though.Moderator comment.Connect to your Microsoft account to tie the game to your account.

Vlado Janos, that should be an easy fix with a copy and paste job.IF you don't know how (not everybody might know after all) do the followingPut your mousepointer in front of the h in http and click and hold the left mouse button. Drag the pointer along the entire url untill it is blue. When you release your mouse it should stay blue. Now hit the CTRL+C key combination on your keyboardopen up your internet browser and select the adress bar after the homepage has loaded, click inside of it once and it should turn blue. Hit the Esc or Del key followed by the CTRL+V combination (the + meaning you press them at the same time) followed by enter.
The site should open now:).Moderator comment. Thanks Mavadelo.:). When completing these tasks, they are then tied to a particular email that you have used. If you try to use the same FB and Twitter accounts via another profile it is detected and an error occurs, or it just freezes up. You have to use the first email you used as well. So long as you've liked the site on FB previously, using the same email, everything should work fine.
